Serie di 6 medaglie commemorative in oro 900/1000, coniazione ufficiale emessa dal comitato organizzatore dei Giochi Olimpici di Roma 1960, a cura della Numismatica Italiana, coniata dalla Zecca Italiana. Nel dritto il tedoforo in piedi di fronte mentre solleva la torcia olimpica, tra l'Arco di trionfo di Costantino e il Partenone di Atene, nel verso la Lupa capitolina su cartella iscritta: MCMLX e i cinque cerchi olimpici.
Series of 6 commemorative medals in 900/1000 gold, official coinage issued by the Organising Committee of the Rome 1960 Olympic Games, by Italian Numismatics, minted by the Italian Mint. The obverse depicts the torchbearer standing in front while raising the Olympic torch, between the Triumphal Arch of Constantine and the Parthenon of Athens. The reverse depicts the Capitoline She-wolf on a folder inscribed: MCMLX and the five Olympic rings.
